Ideas competition
The environment surrounding the Nordic House
Nordic House in cooperation with the Federation of Icelandic Landscape Architects and Iceland Design Centre, hold an ideas competition regarding the design of the area surrounding the Nordic House.
The competition is open for landscape architects and other professionals and designers that are registered in associations within Iceland Design Centre or comparable associations within the Nordic countries.
Total award amounts to 2.000.000 ISK incl.tax.
The aim of the competition is to get practical and exciting ideas regarding the design and content of this unique area situated in the city centre of Reykjavík. The idea is that the area will be fit for use for the whole family for outdoor entertainment and pleasure whole year around.
Propositions shall be turned in before 6 pm Monday 12th of March 2012.

Sigurlaug Ingibjörg Lövdahl, University of Iceland
Results should be clear before March 22nd 2012.
