Artotek
Artotek is the art department at the Nordic house library. The Artotek was founded in 1972 when the Norwegian Graphic Association donated 200 graphic works to the Nordic House, made by Scandinavian artists. This was the start of the first Icelandic Art Library wich opend at The Nordic House in 1976.
In the Artotek there are now over five hundred works by Scandinavian artists. The graphic works range all techniques in graphic styles.
The Artotek at the Nordic house library is a puplic library were anyone who has a library card can borrow three grapic works for three months at a time, free of charge.
