The Chamber Club

The Chamber Club (Kammerklúbburinn) trains young musicians in the Reykjavik capital area in peforming a variety of chamber music in small orchestras. The Chamber Club was established in 2009 by teacher/musician Ewa Tosik with the support of a group of parents.  The members of the club, a group of 20 young people, age 12 to 20, are advanced students from several Reykjavik area music schools. So far, the members have participated in workshops and master classes, offered several public concerts, and participated in a European funded musical exchange project with the Foundation Academy of Ancient Music in Szczecin, in Poland and in Iceland.
