The Horse Orchestra is a collective of seven young improvisors from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland, who have matured in the fertile manure of the Copenhagen jazz scene.

Sink or swim – K Trio/Splashgirl
Splashgirl is a genre defying force. Their music has been compared to melting tar, decisive and hot. It is also vibrant and entertaining. Andreas Stensland Løwe (piano/lofi electronics), Jo Berger Myhre(doublebass/zither/tone generator) and Andreas Lønmo Knudsrød(drums/percussion/sounds).

The local K Trio is an award winning trio that has taken part in the Reykjavik Jazz Festival since 2007. Saxophonist Toms Rudzinskis is their guest. Kristján Tryggvi Martinsson piano, Andri Ólafsson bass, Magnús Trygvason Elíassen drums.
