An exhibition that looks at the climate issue from new angles. In conjunction with the Copenhagen climate conference in December 2009, a group of 25 Nordic newspaper cartoonists provided some amusing and alarming reflections on climate change.
DOVILĖ TOMKUTĖ is well known in Lithuania as a graphic artist and curator of numerous art exhibitions and cultural projects.
The opening of the exhibition is at 3 p.m. Saturday 28th of August. It will be open until 12th of september.
This time we´re introducing some of the finest theatregroups working in the Nordic countries today. Theatre artists in Scandinavia are cooperating as never before and some wonderful examples of their cooperation and partnership can be seen at this year´s festival.
This exhibition is a collection of presents to the Nordic house.
All the items are all related to music. One of the items is the instrument “Lur” which the Nordic House received in 1975 from the Mora Ungdomsspelmanslag in Sweden.
The band Nanook (GRL) plays at the Nordic House 31st of august. Nanook made their first official track together called "Inuup Tarraa", which means "Shadow of Man" and is a track produced for Christian's short film titled with the same name. http://www.myspace.com/nanooksite
This year The Nordic House pays extra attention to the younger
generation. Throughout the year there will be lots of varied programs and activities, directed especially towards children.
Stefan Boulter and Bente Elisabeth Endresen will open their exhibitions in the Nordic House Installation Rooms.
